The multi-instrumentalist Stefano Saletti (bouzouki, oud, guitars, voice) continues his exploration of the music and languages of the Mediterranean.
Founder of Novalia and leader of the Banda Ikona, Saletti is an explorer of sounds and melodies that unite the various Mediterranean traditions.
In March 2021 he released his new album with the Banda Ikona “Mediterraneo ostinato” for the Finisterre label. The new work reached the number 2 of the World Music Charts Europe, the world ranking of world music, entered the ranking of the Transglobal Music Chart and was a finalist at Targhe Tenco in the category “Dialects and minority languages”.
