DESCRIPTION:Federico Albanese is an Italian composer\, pianist and music producer. His musical versatility is a natural gift that pushes him to explore music in all its facets. Albanese’s compositions are airy and cinematic\, blending classical music\, pop and psychedelia. \nIn 2020 Albanese has signed to Mercury KX\, Decca’s genre-defying\, multi-disciplinary imprint\, home to composers and innovative musicians such as Anoushka Shankar\, Ólafur Arnalds and Keaton Henson. Federico’s new album entitled Before and Now Seems Infinite will be released on Mercury KX on February 25\, 2022. Each exquisitely rendered fusion of modern-classical and electronic hues with traces of jazz and avant-garde pop\, “Before and Now Seems Infinite” is inspired by a specific memory and the suggestion that\, in the words of French novelist Marcel Proust\, “Remembrance of things past is not necessarily the remembrance of things as they were.” \n “There are multiple ways in which we perceive a memory\,” says Albanese\, who grew up in Milan and now calls Berlin home. “We might remember things from different angles and give them different meanings. I find it interesting to explore the instant where we decide how we are going to remember something.  And music is the vehicle I use to find these moments\, to hold them in time.” \nConcert organized in partnership with radio 100.7
