Dudelange a compté 27 volontaires\, dont beaucoup dans le quartier Italie autour de la Gare-Usines. Les Spueniekämpfer ont été réhabilités en 2003 par un vote unanime de la Chambre\ndes Députés. Le 10 octobre 2021\, une inscription en leur hommage a été dévoilée au monument du Souvenir\, « Gëlle Fra ».
